Up for bid is my 1990 SAAB SPG (my 10th SAAB). Yes, it was Talladega RED. YES, I did repaint it. DON'T ask why. I painted it a PORSCHE grey. Anyway, I have owned this SAAB SPG with 174k on it for probably 2-3 Years and have literally driven it five times. The repair list is way too long, but, recent work includes: new Bilsteins, new Yokohama tires, new springs, brakes, steering column, brand new battery, valve cover gasket, AERO RIMS new tires and completely tuned up the engine. All body and SPG panels were removed, repaired and repainted with correct SPG paint. I give the paint job a solid 8.5 of 10. Also all the trim around glass was repainted. It runs well. Although if you are reading this then you know how a 29 year old SAAB runs, the weirdness of these vehicles (and if you have issues like me) appreciate them all. I also have virtually every single pice of records and repairs for this vehicle since new, if you are into that sort of thing.Turbo is strong. Overall car drives and runs really well. Again for a 29 year old SAAB. All electronics work properly (including the electric antenna!. Interior is OK. Has a dash pad on as you can see. A small split in the rear seat and the boot shift needs replacement. As I said, if you are looking at this then you know what you are looking at. Again, car runs well. For sale my 1997 Saab 900se. I am the second owner of the beautiful car. I bought it in January from the original owner hoping to use it as a summer car but my situation has changed and would like to sell. This car has been garaged kept almost it’s entire life and it shows. I have full service records along with extra keys, books, even original window sticker and bill of sale. Two door Saabs are hard to find no matter what year. Exterior condition is very good for a 22 year old car. Interior is decent as the previous owner owned dogs so the headliner isn’t in the best shape but the leather is ok and the rest of the car is all original. 4 matching Michelin tires along with spare, first aid kit, tools, etc. As of now the A/C is not blowing cold I will try to fix that myself and also the check engine light goes on an off intermittently (faulty 02 sensor). Rare - one of the lowest miles 900 SE Convertible Monte Carlo Yellow in the world! This is a stunning Saab 900 convertible in one of the most desirable color and trim level. Just a couple of hundred of examples of the Saab 900 Turbo Convertible featuring a special Monte Carlo Yellow paint were made. Most of them ended up in the United States. Apart from the paint, late 1991 and early 1992 models were distinguished by their aerodynamic package dubbed ‘Special Performance Group’, the most powerful engine with the highest boost pressure, three spoke wheels and leather upholstery. The odometers on these 900’s can be faulty/defective but this one is 100% functional and can be backed by CarFax maintenance history with mileage tracking. Carfax is available upon request. The car was purchased on 6/28/91 and the original owner kept it for 20 years. He drove it for 44,000 miles in 20 years. The second owner bought it on 2/3/2011, his family drove for 8,000 miles until they sold it to me (there was a father, daughter, and friend transfer of ownership during that time which added the number of owners, but rest assure I have all their info that confirms it was with their family until around 52-53K miles and sold to me). I originally bought this car to restore it to showroom condition (cosmetically is not perfect and needs work to be Concours worthy, that’s why the price is lower than most MCY’s). I have a vast amount parts that will accompany the car (over $2,500 in parts & misc from the car to include new front and rear OEM headlamps to restore original amber color from factory), original stereo, eq, and cd player, amp and all cables are in a box and will go with the car. To the best of my knowledge and inspections – East of Sweden from Broomfield, CO the car has no rust 'eating' away the main areas. I have moved the front driver and passenger carpet to take pictures of floor pans and removed trunk covers/carpet to show critical areas where usually these cars develop unrecoverable rust. Dash is cracked like any other 900, it will need to be refurbed or replaced for Concours. It’s very clean with original paint (except passenger door which I decided not to fix so new owner could see for himself), original engine, all original glasses (NO CRACKS), and original automatic transmission. Clean title on hand. Private Party Inspections are welcome. Mechanically this vehicle is very sound and it shows. It only has 57,8xx miles, shifts smooth and the engine purrs like new. I spent approximately US$ 3,000 since 2016 doing all the recommended preventive maintenance (documented and not including oil changes). It has been on climate controlled indoor garage w/ a car cover since I purchased it. I have no wish or desire to sell this car for low offers, this car will double its value in a few years. 95 Saab convertible. Starts up and runs and burns a little bit of oil on startup. Can't get top down, everything works. Needs new battery. Sat for two years and that's why I want to get rid of it.
